Global thought leaders from business and science
The Copenhagen Climate Council comprises 30 global leaders, active in business, science and public policy. Understanding the connection between these three elements will be the key to the success of the 2009 UN Climate Change Conference.
• Business leaders represent global companies and innovative entrepreneurs, who through their actions reveal that sustainable, climate responsible business is both necessary and profitable.
• Scientists will ensure that the work of the Council is underpinned by rigorous analysis.
• Policy makers with experience in public policy will ensure that our work is informed by knowledge of what is required to assist high level, complex policy negotiations.
The members of the Council will work together to achieve a successful UN meeting in 2009, with support from international business and the global academic community.
