Li Xiaolin
Chairwoman and CEO, China Power International Development Ltd.
The daughter of former Prime Minister Li Peng, Li Xiaolin was born in 1961. She holds a Master's degree in engineering in power systems and automation from the prestigious Tsinghua University. In 1996, she was appointed general manager of China Power International Development Ltd by the Ministry of Commerce of the P.R.C. In 2005, China Power International Development Ltd made RMB 4.3 billion, an increase of more than 30% over the previous year. Fortune Magazine recently named Li Xiaolin as one of the 50 most powerful women in the world, and she is the only female CEO of a Hong Kong-listed red-chip company.
