Lord Michael Jay

"Climate change is the defining challenge for the 21st century. It is clear to me that combating it successfully will require unprecedented collaboration between governments, legislators, business and civil society. That is why the Copenhagen Climate Council is so important - it brings together leaders from all of these constituencies to promote an ambitious outcome for the UN´s post-2012 negotiations, due to be finalised in Copenhagen in 2009."
