World Business Summit on Climate Change
COPENHAGEN 24-26 MAY 2009
The World Business Summit on Climate Change will bring together approximately 1,000 leaders from business, civil society and governments. Participants are decision-makers and influencers, including chief executives, heads of state, government ministers, leading thinkers, advocates, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs.
Attendance at the Summit is by invitation only. Business participation at the Summit is restricted to top executives of companies invited to participate in the event. Top executives of large companies can have a senior-level colleague accompany them to the Summit.
All other stakeholder groups, including leaders of global civil society organizations and select business associations, scientists and other leading thinkers, representatives of governments, United Nations agencies and international institutions as well as the media will be invited by the organizing committee directly.
The organizing committee will be open to adding to the list of invitees and will actively solicit recommendations of leading thinkers and influencers.
