Paul Aquino
CEO and President, Energy Development Corporation
Paul Aquino is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Development Corporation (EDC), where he has also been on the company’s Board of Directors since 2001.
Prior to joining EDC, Paul Aquino was the President of Management Dynamics, Inc. and stockbrokers Corinthian Security.
He holds a Master in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University in California. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.
He is presently steering EDC towards privatization as chair of its privatization committee - to propel the company from being the world’s second largest geothermal producer to becoming the no. 1 producer of geothermal energy in the world.
